Rainbow Ice Tutorial

I came across this idea the other day on another blog and after some searching found the original blog....

Just look at the fun for kiddos here

RAINBOW ICE TO PLAY WITH IN THEIR POOL OR WATER TABLE

She's got some really awesome tutorials over there, go check our her blog!!

Sooo basically since we've already been using the Crayola Bath Dropz for a while....it just seemed like the perfect thing to try out!!

You can find them in the bubble bath section of your local grocery store
Crayola Color Bath Dropz

She suggested that you use ice cube trays, small plastic bowls, or silicone molds to put the water and dropz in.
I didn't have any extra of those on hand....but I did have a bunch of pint mason jars, so that is what we used!!

We put one of each color in a jar....there are three different colors, red, yellow, and blue

We also mixed colors in the other jars to make green, purple, a deep purple

We put the jars in the freezer door....PERFECT FIT :)
They were frozen by the afternoon, but we let them stay in for 24 hrs and used them the next day!!

To thaw, I just ran them under some warm water for just a few minutes and they were ready to pop out!!

Just turn upside down and let the kids
PLAY

Sweet babies had soooo much fun with these!!
